Student Services

In the 2nd and 3rd year, the course of study is divided into training recognized at European level EQF 4 and private training, both in-depth for the chosen course of study. At the end of both the second and third year, students receive a certificate of certification of skills issued by the Tuscany Region

Inside the Accademia Cinema Toscana offices, study areas are available to students, where they can study and deepen what they have learned in class. The study areas are equipped with Wifi and must be booked by sending an email to segreteria@accademiacinematoscana.it.

The Media Library is located in the Municipal Library Agorà (in the historic center) and holds over 12,000 titles, in VHS or DVD. The Media Library is open to the public, but students of the Accademia Cinema Toscana have special facilities and conditions of use.

Accademia Cinema Toscana believes in the principle of "doing" as a means of knowing. Every year ACT students produce in Teams about 30/40 audiovisual products: they write, direct, produce, organize, take care of the photography, realize the shooting, edit and post-produce their audiovisual product.

Accademia Cinema Toscana has agreements for students with a series of cultural events, such as Lucca Biennale of Contemporary Art in paper, The Photolux Festival, the Lucca Film festival and many other events! In addition to agreements with the Cinema Ezechiele club. Student life is also cultural life.

The Career Service is responsible for managing the student's training and job placement opportunities, providing the tools to gain experience in companies. All students have the opportunity to access this service to get in touch with companies, to form their own career path. In addition, the Career Service follows the ACT Alumni with a Newsletter of job offers.

Just a five-minute walk from the Accademia Cinema Toscana offices, there is the Library.
In the Library, ACT students can find books, handouts and films to borrow. Every year, the Academy is committed to acquiring catalogues of books related to cinema and audiovisual, or films.

It is the right of students, of each year and major, to elect their own representatives who can interface with the Management to propose improvements to the Academic structure. Furthermore, it is always possible to compare oneself at any level with ACT representatives, whether they are teachers or members of the management body.

Just 400 meters from the Accademia Cinema Toscana offices is the university canteen. The facility is open for both lunch and dinner. It offers the possibility of consuming a complete meal (first course, second course, side dish, water and fruit) for just over 5 euros. In addition, ACT has agreements with bars, restaurants and fast food outlets in the area surrounding the headquarters. A list of the affiliated establishments will be provided upon registration.
